Q. How old were you when you started playing?

A. 3 years old

Q. Who was your favorite athlete (any sport) growing up?

A. Andre Agassi

Q. What was your Play Huge moment in your career?

A. Participation in the 2012 Olympic Games in London

Q. What song is always on your pregame play list?

A. Paul Kalkbrenner: Sky and Sand

Q. What’s your favorite movie?

A. Dirty Dancing

Q. What advice would you give to a younger version of yourself?

A. Work hard, but have fun!

Q. Who is one person you (past or present) with whom you’d like to have dinner?

A. Jason Statham

Q. What’s the one thing you’d like to see changed in your sport?

A. Reputation and earnings! In Germany, it´s not possible to live from hockey, you have to work. We invest so much time in hockey, we train so hard, but we don´t get official interest or recognition. Only football (soccer) is interesting for the media….I hope that it improves in future!

Q. Who’s your favorite teammate you’ve ever played with?

A. Julia Müller – she plays for Amsterdam HBC and was my teammate in the German national team

Q. Who is or was the most influential person in helping you on your way to become a professional athlete?

A. My family. They have always supported me all these years.

Q. Describe your playing style in three words.

A. Lively, Demanding, Powerful

Q. What’s your favorite exercise or drill to do while you’re training and why?

A. My favorite exercise is the Argentinean backhand. For me, as a defender, it is a good opportunity to make a pass without getting stress from the striker, because I can better shield the ball from the opponent.

Q. What’s your favorite pre-game meal?

A. Scrambled eggs

Q. Tell us your favorite motivational quote.

A. You never lose! Either you win or you learn.

Q. If you could play anywhere in the world, where would it be?

A. Argentina. Hockey is a national sport there. Everybody knows hockey and loves this sport. If you have a tournament in Argentina and you go out on the street in your normal clothes, they will recognize you. They are proud to be hockey fans.
