  Why I Use STX

STX hands down has the best goalie equipment out there. Even before joining the team, I had used the Eclipse and many other

STX Products. If you want to play the best, you have to be equipped with the best. Joining team STX was a no-brainer with their commitment to goalies and the game of Women's Lacrosse.

LIZ'S SETUP

Q&A

Q. HOW OLD WERE YOU WHEN YOU STARTED PLAYING?

A. I started playing boys lacrosse (yes, boys! we didn't have girls lax then) in 2nd grade. I didn't pick up my first girls' stick until spring of 9th grade.

Q. WHO WAS YOUR FAVORITE ATHLETE (ANY SPORT) GROWING UP?

A. Dan Marino! Alas... he never did win that Super Bowl. Womp Wah.

Q. WHAT WAS YOUR PLAY HUGE MOMENT IN YOUR CAREER?

A. Freshman year in the Carrier Dome we (Syracuse) were playing UNC for a trip to the Final Four. I hit a long pass and picked up my first assist of my career for the go ahead goal. It was our first trip ever to the NCAA Final Four and a moment I will remember forever!

Q. WHAT SONG IS ALWAYS ON YOUR PREGAME PLAY LIST?

A. All the Above - Maino ft. T-Pain

Q. WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE MOVIE?

A. October Sky, Pitch Perfect or any of the Bourne movies.

Q. WHAT ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE TO A YOUNGER VERSION OF YOURSELF?

A. The sooner you can be comfortable with being uncomfortable, the sooner you'll experience success and actually enjoy it!

Q. WHO IS ONE PERSON YOU (PAST OR PRESENT) WITH WHOM YOU’D LIKE TO HAVE DINNER?

A. Probably both of my grandfathers. One died while I was young (6 weeks) and I hear he was a great man, and the other died while I was a young adult, he was an amazing chef. I'd love to have one last meal with both of them together.

Q. WHAT’S THE ONE THING YOU’D LIKE TO SEE CHANGED IN YOUR SPORT?

A. Change the number of players to 6 v 6. It really opens up space!

Q. WHO’S YOUR FAVORITE TEAMMATE YOU’VE EVER PLAYED WITH?

A. Tough call, probably Bridget Looney. She taught me perseverance, hard work and to never give up. The Looney family in general is an inspiration!

Q. WHO IS OR WAS THE MOST INFLUENTIAL PERSON IN HELPING YOU ON YOUR WAY TO BECOME A PROFESSIONAL ATHLETE?

Q. DESCRIBE YOUR PLAYING STYLE IN THREE WORDS.

A. Athletic. Loose. Fun.

Q. WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE EXERCISE OR DRILL TO DO WHILE YOU’RE TRAINING AND WHY?

Q. WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE PRE-GAME MEAL?

A. Pasta bolognese!

Q. TELL US YOUR FAVORITE MOTIVATIONAL QUOTE.

A. Failure isn't a tattoo, it's a bruise.
