Why I Use STX

When I was at college, I was lucky to have the opportunity to play with STX sticks and goggles. STX products are always reliable and effective.


Q. How old were you when you started playing?

A. I was 11 when I started to play lacrosse.

Q. Who was your favorite athlete (any sport) growing up?

A. Jonny Wilkinson is my favorite athlete growing up. He is an England Rugby player.

Q. What was your Play Huge moment in your career?

A. Winning a National Championship in 2010 and winning a bronze medal in the U19 World Cup.

Q. What song is always on your pregame play list?

A. Celine Dion "It's All Coming Back to Me Now" or Nicki Minaj "Super Bass"

Q. What’s your favorite movie?

A. The Holiday

Q. What advice would you give to a younger version of yourself?

A. Grab every opportunity you can and enjoy every second you have stepping out on the field with your teammates.

Q. Who is one person you (past or present) with whom you’d like to have dinner?

A. The Queen

Q. What’s the one thing you’d like to see changed in your sport?

A. I would like to see lacrosse become an Olympic sport.

Q. Who’s your favorite teammate you’ve ever played with?

A. My first England role model was Lucy Lynch. It is extremely hard to choose my favorite teammate from college as they were all incredible. Caitlyn McFaden and Sarah Mollison were two who I really looked up to.

Q. Who is or was the most influential person in helping you on your way to become a professional athlete?

A. Cathy Reese is an incredibly inspirational coach. She has such a positive influence on her players that they really want to be the best they can for her and the team. Her positivity and caring family nature brought the best out of her players.

Q. Describe your playing style in three words.

A. Fast, powerful, relentless.

Q. What’s your favorite exercise or drill to do while you’re training and why?

A. 7 v 7 is my favorite lacrosse drill because it allows you to work as a unit and to be creative.

Q. What’s your favorite pre-game meal?

A.  Anything and everything. My favorite meal is a roast dinner or sushi.
